LOVE Starts With The Letter “L” For Loss
Jesus suffered the loss of everything good, so that we may lose everything bad. The Father suffered the loss of Jesus so satan would lose his control over humanity!
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” John 10:10 (AMP).
As we decide to lose our agenda entering relationships, we set our future up for love!
LOVE’s Second Letter Is “O” For Overturn
The wisest decision in eternity allowed God the Father to overturn His righteous judgment against humans by placing His Son as a substitute (in our place of judgment)!
“… God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.” Romans 3:23-24 (MSG).
Even when we are right in a relationship dispute, it is great wisdom to forgive first!
LOVE’s Third Letter Is “V” For Value
Heaven became “bankrupt” (so to speak) when Jesus came to earth and the Father turned His back, so that we would receive infinite value as God’s born-again children.
“For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.” 1 Peter 1:18-19 (New Living Translation).
